Sound & Music Commission for the Museum of London Archive.
I was commissioned to composer new music for a site specific event in the warehouses of The museum of London Archive.
For the event, I produce 3 outcomes:
1- A sound installation to be explored by torchlight, with vibrational speakers turning the glass display cabinets into sound sources.
2- Two new recited “scores” based around objects from the collection. A medieval hair extension and a bone ice skate. The text-based scores were recited live by James Worse, and that live reading became the score for an improvising cellist to respond to the words.
